Celiachia: in aumento le diagnosi errate

Professor Umberto Volta , Chairman of the Scientific Committee of micr AIC (Italian Celiac Association), in recent times, is raising the problem of misdiagnosis of Celiac [1] .

In short, on the one hand, the Celiac disease is a diagnosis that doctors are very many still consider the other, it appears that many diagnoses of celiac disease are not really correct.

This would involve other diseases.

For those involved in autoimmune disease, is not new: such diseases, by their nature, are generally easy to diagnose. We must in fact have considerable experience to make a diagnosis called "differential".

Let's see, in short, why.

First, not you can be sure if the disease is only part of the remission of symptoms after gluten-free diet.

One of the biggest mistakes you can commit is the exclusion of gluten-free "testing." Many conditions can benefit from the elimination of gluten which, remember, is a food and glue can be difficult to digest.

As we know, there are other diseases in which doctors prefer to exclude (if only to caution) gluten, but these are forms of celiac disease.

Another problem is that the flattening of the villi. Not only does the Celiac causes. But antibiotics intestinal infections or other diseases.

In conclusion, the diagnosis should be carried out by hospitals or facilities that are able to actually see if it comes to Celiac Disease or other diseases.

This is done either through knowledge of the diagnostic protocol, is counting on being inclusive, it is also essential to know the symptoms or non-standard situations, such as extra-intestinal symptoms with celiac disease or celiac disease sero-negative.

However, with proper precautions, I would emphasize two aspects.

The first is that to exclude celiac disease does NOT mean leaving the patient without a diagnosis, which unfortunately often happens.

If you experience a screening of first degree relatives of celiac disease patients based only on genetic predisposition, the protocol we would exclude the possibility, in principle, subject to other controls on HLA negative.

The data so far known, people with celiac disease were HLA negative 9% of the total population celiac, if we look at the figures in this way does not seem like much, but we're still talking about 9 of every 100 people.

Practically, 1 in 10 people.

How to move and work in Cuba?

Due to the demand, traquillizziamo readers that despite lapse of more than one year after publication, still apply the indigo contained in the post "How to move and work in Cuba? " , which brought forward, making small corrections.

(Resident Abroad), arriving in Cuba with his spouse, may extend the visa familiar A-2, every 3 months up to a maximum of 11 months and 29 days, provided that you have sufficient income to live almost a years without working.

order to live and work in Cuba there is a need or "Permanent Resident" or "Residence Time"
. Speaking before the
"Permanent Residency" list should be at the Embassy in Italy, presenting a form, filled in English and in all its parts, which must attach the following documents: 1) birth certificate, 2 ) certificate residence, 3) chest radiography, and serological testing of AIDS, made by no later than 6 months, 4) Certificate of technical skill and practice, for over 16 years and under 60, may be certified for study, employment or retirement, 5) Certificate of criminal record, issued no more than 3 months, 6) Bank references, 7) motivation letter with the request, written in English, 8) Two passport photos, 9) Photocopy of passport in the consulate to be authenticated by showing the original.
The first five documents to be legalized in the prefecture, translated into English and legalized in the Cuban embassy.

The granting or not of the "Permanent Residency" will be communicated between 3 and 6 months from the date of application. If it will be issued an A-2, for a period of 30 days.

Different is the case of "Temporary Residence" , which is awarded for study or work. In this case, the company that takes through the body of Cuban membership, or the University to them requires the Department of Immigration.
Find a job, honestly, is not so simple. Personally it took me almost a year. A beginning may be to contact foreign companies, perhaps by going to the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba , and of course have the appropriate skills, provided they are willing to take. There are also some companies or institutions which take Cuban nationals, such as in my case and Stefano. Almost all universities in Cuba, also depends on the student's age, offer the opportunity to enroll the entire degree course or only to specific materials. The validity of the "Temporary Residence" is linked to the duration of the contract of employment or studies.
To open a business in Cuba, the first suggestion is to make an appointment note the details of our embassy in Havana Commercial, which may provide useful clarification of the law or to contact the ' ICE Office of City Mexico , which is responsible for Cuba, of course, in this case, it may be helpful to contact the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba . The weekly Opciones as needed, the public demands of the Cuban companies seeking partners for imports or exports. Another suggestion would be to visit the International Fair of Havana 2009, which runs from November 2nd to 7th, you never know ...

It 'clear that in any case, we need capital, expertise and have a valid project to be submitted to the Cuban authorities.

The Gran Hotel Havana Trotcha

Da questa data si dedicò, invece, alla compravendita di terreni dove costruiva lussuose residenze da sell to the wealthy families of Havana who were moving gradually toward the Cerro El Vedado.
And on land located at the intersection of two roads and Calzada, acquired by the Count of Pozos Dulces, built for his family a luxurious residence near the sea.
In 1886, the works were completed, Catalan, however, thought to transform the gardens and some rooms at the "Sociedad Vedado" , he fondada, serving the best dishes in the kitchen English, Creole and French. In 1890 Don Buenaventura
adapted the upper floors for hotel, giving it 20 rooms, one suite, health services, shared bathrooms, kitchen and bar-restaurant, all surrounded by beautiful gardens. The roof was wood shingles and French while the exterior windows were glazed with polychrome wrought iron railings. She was born cos ¡ the "Gran Hotel Trotcha" .
In 1902 the Catalan decided to expand the hotel and building a new lock on a ground nearby. The building, two floors of wood, was called El Eden .
was expanded again in 1904 with the construction of the Washington , a brick structure three stories high.
The Grand Hotel Trotcha worked until the crisis of the thirties, when it was converted into a guest house with 60 rooms. In 1986, a fire destroyed completely, leaving only a few remains.
The ashes of the old hotel, it is appropriate to say it should be interesting, while keeping the facade built in 1886, the new Hotel Trotcha. The competition for the award of projects, of which we can see an elaborate below, was won in 2007 by architects Cuban José Antonio Choy and Julia León .
